  1. ‚Ä¢ Click on a card to select it.
  2. ‚Ä¢ Click on a card already chosen for a pass to unselect it.
  3. ‚Ä¢ The "PASS" button will appear closest to the player who will receive your pass.
  4. ‚Ä¢ Clicking on the pad in the lower left shows you the score.

  6. MENUS:
  7. ‚Ä¢ ABOUT HEARTS: Contains information on SHAREWARE registration. Do the right thing.
  8. ‚Ä¢ QUIT: Quits Hearts.
  9. ‚Ä¢ NEW GAME: Begins a new game with the current settings.
  10. ‚Ä¢ BOSS COMING: A panic button (apple-B) in case you really should be working.
  11. ‚Ä¢ JACK OF DIAMONDS:  When checked, the Jack of Diamonds is worth -10. 
  12. ‚Ä¢ QUEEN OF SPADES:  When checked, the Queen of Spades is worth +13.
  13. ‚Ä¢ NO TRICK RULE:  When checked, you recieve a -5 bonus for taking no points in a hand.
  14. ‚Ä¢ HANDICAP: This Pop-Up menu lets you set your initial score.
  15. ‚Ä¢ TUTOR MODE:  Has the computer coach you in various aspects of the game.
  16. ‚Ä¢ DEMONSTRATION:  When checked the computer will play itself.
  17. ‚Ä¢ SKILL LEVEL: This menu lets you chose the I.Q. of your opponents.
